About me:
I’m an enthusiastic scientist and fast learner with an engineering mindset and a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Vermont. My research focuses on therapeutic biomaterials, enzyme stabilization, and drug delivery systems, with a strong emphasis on translational science. I’ve developed in vitro assays, worked with mammalian and bacterial cell cultures, and engineered hydrogel and nanoparticle platforms, all within regulatory-aligned environments like ISO 10993.
I’m deeply committed to scientific communication, with experience presenting at conferences, publishing in peer-reviewed journals, and mentoring students. I’ve led lab safety initiatives and collaborated across interdisciplinary teams to drive research forward. I'm passionate about solving complex biological problems through creative design and collaborative science.
Outside of work, I’m passionate about fitness, cooking, and great music. On weekends, you’ll often find me running, hiking mountain trails, playing tennis, swimming, or enjoying quality time with family and friends.
